ABOUT
High Noon was designed to stand out, with curves that demand a second take. The circular mezzanine – made out of CLT, which stacks over the custom curving bar joined by a sculptural feature stair – was a result of connecting the large existing columns which support 4 stories of housing above with a unique curve. This kind of invisible innovation, which allowed for the existing footings which were original to the shell construction saved considerable costs for this project – allowing more money to be spent on finishes and the custom lighting fixtures seen throughout. Many of Shea’s projects benefit from a construction lens throughout the design phases which not only benefit the bottom line but more importantly, client satisfaction.
