The Bandon Modular Multifamily project embodies the future of ‘how to’ solve for both climate and housing crisis’s. That is to say, the physical design aims to be as sexy as the development mission for why it is built.
A safe place to begin again. Modular construction designed to not be recognized as such. Affordable one, two and three bedroom units all boast private outdoor patios, in addition to a shared common area on the roof.
ABOUT
This 20‑unit community in Bandon is designed for survivors of domestic violence who are rebuilding their lives with courage and determination. The project pairs trauma‑informed design with deeply affordable housing, creating a place where stability, refuge, and dignity come first.
Each unit is its own sanctuary — light‑filled, efficient, and crafted with durable, low‑maintenance materials that support long‑term resilience. Shared entry corridors are intentionally scaled and softened, offering opportunities for connection and interaction without compromising safety or autonomy.
Located within reach of services, transit, and daily needs, the development strengthens Bandon’s commitment to supporting survivors and expanding equitable housing options on the Oregon Coast. More than a building, it is a foundation for healing, independence, and hope.
